FAST DISPUTE RESOLUTION
REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY
Last Updated: May 19, 2026
This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how Fast Dispute Resolution handles cancellations, credits, and refunds.
1. General Rule
Unless required by law or expressly stated otherwise in a written fee notice, quote, invoice, or case-specific payment page, fees are generally earned as services are made available, reserved, initiated, or performed.
2. Non-Refundable or Earned Fees
The following are generally non-refundable once charged or once related work begins:
- case opening or intake/setup fees
- administrative activation fees
- platform access fees tied to case launch
- fees for completed mediation sessions
- drafting or document-preparation fees once drafting begins
- supplemental fees once the related work or milestone begins
- fees associated with completed translations, summaries, or generated workflow outputs prepared for the case
3. Split Payments and Party-Specific Payments
Where fees are split between parties, each party is responsible for the portion allocated to that party unless a written case notice states otherwise. One party’s nonpayment, delay, refusal to participate, or withdrawal does not automatically entitle another party to a refund.
4. Cases That Do Not Proceed
If a case does not proceed, any refund or credit is determined case-by-case and depends on what services, setup, review, or case work have already been provided. We may, but are not required to, issue a full refund, partial refund, service credit, or no refund at all, except where required by law.
5. Cancellations by You
You may stop using the Services at any time. However, stopping use does not automatically entitle you to a refund for services already delivered, made available, reserved, or initiated.
6. Rescheduling and Live Sessions
If live sessions are offered for a particular case:
- rescheduling requests should be made as early as possible;
- missed sessions or late cancellations may be treated as used time or non-refundable reserved time;
- we may set case-specific rescheduling rules in a scheduling notice or invoice.
7. Cancellations or Termination by Us
We may decline, suspend, or terminate Services if a matter appears unsafe, unsuitable, unlawful, abusive, or otherwise inconsistent with our policies. If we terminate before substantive work begins, we may, in our discretion, issue a full or partial refund or credit. If substantive work has already begun, we may retain fees for work performed or made available.
8. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Before disputing a charge with your bank or card issuer, contact us at support@fastdisputeresolution.com. Filing a chargeback does not automatically cancel your obligations under our Terms. We reserve the right to suspend case access while a chargeback is under review and to contest chargebacks we believe are improper.
9. Refund Method
Approved refunds, if any, are generally returned to the original payment method unless otherwise required by law or agreed in writing.
10. Timing
Refund review times vary depending on the case and payment method. If a refund is approved, processing time also depends on the payment processor and your bank.
